The Winyah Angler Fly Fishing School

The Winyah Angler Fly Fishing School is a Comprehensive 2~ day  School, Covering all Aspects of Saltwater Fly Fishing. The School will consist of a Friday evening "Meet & Greet" with Beverages and Appetizers for Student Anglers to meet their Guide/Instructors. At the "Meet & Greet, Guides and Student Anglers will Sign in for "School" ,pick up their (Winyah Angler Swag buckets) and enjoy the evening! Saturday morning class on the introduction to saltwater fly fishing, gear, knots, rigging, flies and presentation for SE coastal fishing opportunities will be covered. Followed by a mid-day fly casting lesson. Then Student Anglers will join their Guide Instructors for a 1/2 day of fly fishing on the flats skiffs in the afternoon. There will be 2 Anglers~per skiff ,each day. This will give Student Anglers an opportunity to put their new skills to the test on the water. After fishing, The Winyah Angler will host a Cocktail and Tapas Party for Anglers and Guides to discuss their day, talk shop and relax for a couple of hours before calling it a day. 

Sunday will consist of a Refresher Course of the previous day in the Morning ,followed by more Casting Instruction and another 1/2 day of fishing on the Flats Skiffs. All necessary gear will be provided ,as well as lunches and beverages, prepared locally ,for the boat for both fishing days.

The School will be *Limited to (8 Student Anglers) and Sessions will fill up fast!
